Abstract:
The present invention provides an iris recognition method and device. Compared with a structure in which a camera is independent from a display screen and is disposed at an edge position, a sensing unit is disposed below an iris recognition area of a display unit, and a projection of the iris of the eyeball of a user is located at the iris recognition area, so that the eyeball iris information of the user can be captured in time in the present invention, then the eyeball iris information is compared with preset iris information, and an operation instruction corresponding to the iris information is executed, thereby effectively improving the accuracy of the iris recognition. In addition, when the sensing unit receives different triggering signals, infrared light can be emitted to observe the iris of the eyeball of the user, and an infrared light signal reflected by the iris of the eyeball of the user can be received to capture iris characteristic information. Compared with a structure in which a camera independently protrudes from the display screen, the overall thickness of a mobile device can be effectively reduced, so that the mobile device is lighter and thinner and satisfies market demands.
