Title:
IRON-BASED AMORPHOUS ALLOY RIBBON
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/062037
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an iron-based amorphous alloy ribbon, suitable for power distribution transformers and the like, in which the magnetic flux density (B1) in a ribbon is at least 1.550 T and the fill-in ratio of a core in which the ribbon is used is at least 87.5%. Provided is an iron-based amorphous alloy ribbon, with a composition including at least 80at% of iron, at least 12at% of boron, and 17-20at% of the total of boron and silicon. The ribbon has the thickness of 20-30 µm, the width of 100-1000 mm, and is configured by including a stripped surface and a free surface. In the width direction of the stripped surface, 0.95 ≤ RAx ≤ 1.2 is satisfied where an average value of the surface roughness Ra of a central section region is RAc, an average value of the surface roughness Ra of edge section regions is RAe, and the surface roughness ratio determined by dividing RAe by RAc is RAx.
