Abstract:
Provided are an iron-based amorphous alloy strip material and method for fabrication thereof, as represented by the formula FeaSibBcCdMf, wherein M is a trace element; a, b, c, d, and f correspond to the atomic percentage content of each element, and 81.0 ≤ a ≤ 83.0, 0.5 ≤ b ≤ 6.5, 12.0 ≤ c ≤ 14.5, 0.1 ≤ d ≤ 1.3, f ≤ 0.4, and a+b+c+d+f = 100; the pinhole length of said iron-based amorphous alloy strip material is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 4 mm, its width is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 2 mm, and the number of pinholes on the strip material which have a length of 2 m does not exceed 5. The method for fabrication comprises the following steps: (A) batching the ingredients of the iron-based amorphous alloy as represented by the formula, then smelting and refining to obtain molten steel; (B) single-roll quick quenching of the molten steel and then performing thermal treatment to obtain an iron-based amorphous alloy strip material. The surface quality of the iron-based amorphous alloy strip material is controlled by means of optimizing the alloy composition and preparation process, and an iron-based amorphous alloy strip material having high saturation magnetic induction strength, high stacking factor, low loss, and high toughness is obtained.
