Abstract:
Disclosed is an iron-based complex phase environmentally-friendly hydrogen storage material. The iron-based complex phase environmentally-friendly hydrogen storage material is prepared by the following method: providing Ti, V, Fe, Zr, Ce and Gd metal raw materials; weighing the Ti, V, Fe, Zr, Ce and Gd metal raw materials according to a preset chemical formula; vacuum smelting the weighed Ti, V, Fe, Zr, Ce and Gd metal raw materials to obtain a first TiVFe alloy ingot; first heat treating the first TiVFe alloy ingot; first rolling the first TiVFe alloy ingot which has been first heat treated so as to obtain a second TiVFe alloy ingot; second heat treating the second TiVFe alloy ingot; second rolling the second TiVFe alloy ingot which has been second heat treated so as to obtain a third TiVFe alloy ingot; and third heat treating the third TiVFe alloy ingot. By the method where the heat treatment and rolling are alternately performed, an alloy ingot can be rolled to about 10% of the original size thereof, solving the problem of processing difficulties for a TiVFe series alloy.
