Abstract:
The present invention provides an iron-based powder for oxygen reaction agents that is capable of achieving high reactivity with oxygen. This iron-based powder for oxygen reaction agents has a metallic iron content of 70 mass% to 100 mass% and has, in the interior of the particles, pores that connect to exterior, wherein among said pores, the total surface area of pores having a diameter of 3 nm to 500 µm per 1 g of the iron-based powder is 0.010 m2/g or more.
