Abstract:
With respect to an iron-based soft magnetic material which is mainly composed of iron, copper and chalcogens including at least sulfur, a melt obtained by additionally blending a material containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, vanadium, niobium, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, manganese, zinc, boron, aluminum, gallium and silicon, while setting the contents of iron, copper and chalcogens including at least sulfur within specific ranges is quenched. Consequently, a cell wall structure that comprises cells which are formed of a matrix phase that is mainly composed of iron and a cell boundary phase which is present at the boundary of cells and is mainly composed of a sulfide containing copper is achieved. Consequently, the present invention provides: an iron-based soft magnetic material which is capable of sufficiently reducing the overcurrent loss; and an iron-based soft magnetic core which is configured from the iron-based soft magnetic material. The present invention also provides a method for producing the above-described iron-based soft magnetic material.
