Abstract:
An iron roughneck having a thread compound applying device (1). The iron roughneck comprises a clamp assembly (3) for clamping a target drilling tool (6), wherein the thread compound applying device (1) is arranged on the clamp assembly (3); the thread compound applying device (1) comprises a lifting oil cylinder (11) and a rotating oil cylinder (12); a nozzle assembly (14) is arranged on the rotating oil cylinder (12); the lifting oil cylinder (11) can drive the rotating oil cylinder (12) to move in a rising and falling manner; and the rotating oil cylinder (12) can drive the nozzle assembly (14) to move in a horizontal rotation manner.
