Abstract:
The invention relates to a method which is used to irradiate an imaging optical system (12) of a projector (11), wherein the imaging optical system (12) is irradiated with light of different colors (Lb1, Lg, Lr) from different semiconductor light sources (13-16) sequentially, both with single colors and superposed as mixed light. A projector (11) has an imaging optical system (12) and at least two semiconductor light sources (13-16), which produce light of different colors (Lb1, Lb2, Lg, Lr), for illuminating the imaging optical system (12), wherein the project (11) is designed to carry out the method.
