Abstract:
Disclosed is an isolated M@C2n. The isolated M@C2n is an isolated endohedral fullerene represented by M@C2n. M: a single or a plurality of metal atoms or an atomic group containing the metal atoms 2n = 60 or 70 Also disclosed is an endohedral fullerene represented by the following formula in which, in a laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrum (hereinafter referred to as “LDI (or LD)-TOF-MS” at a positive mode, the proportion of the peak intensity of other fullerene to the peak intensity of endohedral fullerene is not more than 0.5%.
