Abstract:
Disclosed is a power supply device with excellent responsiveness which is capable of controlling output by an external control signal and which, by supplying a PWM control pulse signal for output control to each of a primary side circuit and a secondary side circuit, can be realized with a single isolated AC-DC converter. The disclosed isolated power supply device is provided with a control circuit (17, 23) which generates and outputs the control signal of a switching element which controls the flow of current through the primary side of a power conversion means (transformer), and a signal transmission means (15) which transmits to the aforementioned control circuit a detection signal originating from a detection means (13, AMP1) which detects the output current or the output voltage. The isolated power supply device is configured to control the output current or the output voltage by supplying to both the aforementioned control circuit and the secondary side of the aforementioned power conversion means an output control pulse signal which contains the aforementioned control information in the duty ratio as the output control signal.
