Abstract:
Provided is an isolated switching power supply that performs an efficient power conversion with a simple configuration. The switching power supply has: input ends 1, 2; output ends p, n; a transformer T provided with a primary coil N1 and a secondary coil N2; an on/off-controlled switching element Q; a sub-capacitor C1 connected between one end of the secondary coil and the negative electrode output end n; a choke coil L having one end connected to the negative electrode output end n; a first rectification element D1 connected between the other end of the secondary coil and the positive electrode output end p and conducting the current flowing to the positive electrode output end p; a second rectification element D2 connected between the other end of the choke coil and the other end of the secondary coil and conducting the current flowing to the secondary coil; a third rectification element D3 connected between the other end of the choke coil and one end of the secondary coil and conducting the current flowing to the sub-capacitor or the secondary coil; and a smoothing capacitor C2 connected between the output ends.
