Abstract:
Provided is an isolation and recovery method for isoprene. The method makes it possible to reduce the amount of polymers of isoprene generated when isoprene is isolated and recovered from a mixed fluid that includes isoprene. According to this isolation and recovery method for isoprene, isoprene is isolated and recovered from a mixed fluid that includes isoprene. The method includes: an extraction distillation step for extraction distilling the mixed fluid to obtain a fraction that includes impurities that are less soluble than isoprene in the extraction solvent used in the extraction distillation and a fraction that includes crude isoprene; and a fractional distillation step for fractionally distilling the fraction that includes the crude isoprene to obtain a fraction that includes impurities that have a higher boiling point than isoprene, a fraction that includes impurities that have a lower boiling point than isoprene, and a fraction that includes high-purity isoprene.
