Abstract:
Disclosed is an isolation transformer having high withstand voltage, wherein parasitic capacitance between the primary and secondary are reduced and the volume of the isolation transformer is also reduced. The isolation transformer comprises: a primary-side core on which a primary winding is wound; a secondary-side core on which a secondary winding is wound; and an insulator, and the primary-side core and the secondary-side core are arranged fixed to the insulator so as to face each other with the insulator positioned therebetween. In addition, a power source device is provided with: the isolation transformer which comprises the primary-side core on which the primary winding is wound, comprises the secondary-side core on which the secondary winding is wound, and comprises the insulator, the primary-side core and the secondary-side core being arranged fixed to the insulator so as to face each other with the insulator positioned therebetween; a primary-side circuit which is connected to the primary winding of the isolation transformer; and a secondary-side circuit which is connected to the secondary winding of the isolation transformer. The isolation transformer is mounted on a printed circuit board together with circuit components making up the primary side circuit and the secondary side circuit.
