Abstract:
Disclosed is an isolator device that, addressing danger during operation of the isolator device, has a simple structure and secures a high level of safety. Furthermore, addressing danger after termination of operation of the isolator device, the isolator device has a simple filter replacement work, and a low risk of contaminating the outside environment by means of said replacement work. The isolator device is provided with: a work chamber; an air-supply means that supplies a unidirectional flow of air from the top to the bottom within the work chamber; and an air discharge means that discharges the unidirectional flow of air from the bottom of the work chamber. The isolator device is further provided with: a dividing wall provided along the abovementioned unidirectional flow of air in parallel to the peripheral walls of the work chamber; and an elongated air discharge opening that opens along the widthwise direction of the bottom end of the dividing wall at the bottom of said bottom end and that is mounted in a manner so that an air purifying filter unit is caused to face an air introduction opening.
