Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an item positioning method and system, for realizing visualized tracking and positioning of an item. The method comprises: upon entry of each item into a conveying queue, identifying an appearance attribute of the item by means of a surveillance camera, so as to determine identification information of the item; determining, according to the position at which the item enters the conveying queue and the identification information of the item, an item sequence of the conveying queue after the item has entered the same; and positioning each item in the conveying queue by means of the appearance attribute of the item and the item sequence.
