Abstract:
The present invention relates to a jaw crusher for heavy equipment, comprising: a first crusher jaw (50) serving as a male jaw; a second crusher jaw (60) serving as a female jaw; a hydraulic unit (3) for driving the first crusher jaw (50); and gap-adjusting devices (10, 20) for adjusting the gap between the first crusher jaw (50) and the second crusher jaw (60), wherein the gap-adjusting devices (10, 20) include respective main body units (11, 21) having insertion holes (111, 211) for inserting a first shaft and a second shaft (4) for fixing one side of the first crusher jaw (50) and one side of the second jaw (60), and fluid spaces (112, 212) for accommodating fluid; and driving units (12, 22) coupled to the respective fluid spaces (112, 212) of the main body units (11, 21) to move linearly by means of the pressure of the fluid. The thus-configured jaw crusher for heavy equipment is advantageous in that the gap between crusher jaws is adjusted by a hydraulic cylinder to enable easy gap adjustment, and the female jaw is protected from foreign substances which might get caught in the female jaw, and the male jaw is prevented from being twisted, during cutting or crushing operations performed using the crusher jaw.
