Abstract:
The present invention relates to a jet-controlling collet comprising: a body unit having a main body, a hollow section which is formed in the main body and is formed such that the inner circumferential surface thereof is press fitted against a cutting tool, and a slot which passes through the main body in the thickness direction thereof and is formed linking through to the hollow section; and a cover unit having a cylindrical member which extends integrally from the main body and is formed so as to shut off the end of the slot and in which the hollow section is formed extending as far as the front end thereof, a flange formed extending from the cylindrical member, and a coolant injection groove which is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical member, opens towards the front end thereof, and links through to the slot.
