Abstract:

Provided is a bladder type of jig for manufacture of a composite material structure. The jig is particularly useful for manufacture of a stiffened panel structure employing a hat-type stringer and is sufficiently durable to withstand repeated use. The main portion (11) constituting the main body of a bladder (10A) is formed in a shape of a tube having an internal hollow space. One end thereof is sealed by a terminal metal part (12) to keep the inside airtight. The insertion portion (12b) of the terminal metal part (12) is inserted into the hollow at the end of the main portion (11). On the outside circumference face thereof, a plurality of band-shaped grooves (12d) are formed so as to wind around the outside circumference face. The band-shaped grooves (12d) enable the formation of a plurality of looped adhesive layers (14) between the inside face of the main portion (11) and the outside peripheral face of the insertion portion (12b) to strengthen the adhesion between the main portion (11) and the terminal metal part (12) and to increase the airtightness of the inside of the main body (11).
