Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a jigsaw with improved flexibility in the placement of the rotational speed-adjusting unit inside the housing. [Solution] A jigsaw (1) in which: a motor-driven reciprocating rod protrudes downward in front of a housing (2) that houses the motor; a cutting blade (3) for cutting the material to be cut is connected to the lower end of the rod; and a rotational speed-adjusting unit, which is capable of adjusting the rotational speed of the motor, is disposed in the housing. The rotational speed-adjusting unit is configured from a push switch (10), which has a load sensor that detects the pressing load and which is capable of adjusting the rotational speed according to the pressing load detected by the load sensor as a result of the push switch being pressed.
