Abstract:
A joining method joins two objects to be joined, a first member and a second member with a joint insertion section into which the first member is inserted, to each other. Said joining method is provided with: an additional heating step S4 for heating the second member, which has been set inside an expansion-restricting member and into the joint insertion section of which the first member has been inserted, to a first temperature and mechanically restricting the thermal expansion of the second member with the inner surface of the expansion-restricting member to plastically deform the joint insertion section in the diameter-reducing direction; and after the additional heating step S4, a cooling step S5 for cooling the second member and joining the first and second members to each other.
