Abstract:
This joining structure includes a structure in which two flanges are joined together, wherein adequate noise and vibration performance can be ensured even when plate thickness is reduced. A joining structure 30 has a first flange 13, a second flange 23, joints 32 formed by the first flange 13 and the second flange 23 being joined together so that at least one is forcefully pressed against the other, and a contact portion 33 where the first flange 13 and the second flange 23 are in slidable contact at a position spaced apart from the joints 32. The first flange 13 and the second flange 23 are spaced apart from each other at a position between the joints 32 and the contact portion 33, whereby an air gap 34 is formed between the first flange 13 and the second flange 23. Vibration and noise energy is damped by the sliding of a first contact portion 45 and a second contact portion 55 of the contact portion 33.
