Abstract:

A joint assembly for a doll, the assembly including a pelvic portion (18), two thigh portions (20). Each thigh portion (20) defines with the pelvic portion (18) a substantially enclosed recess (28) which locates a ball member (44) to permit rotational movement between the pelvic and thigh portions (18, 20). Two elastic strings (70, 72) extend through the doll (10), including extending through the balls (44).
