It is known from the Polish patent specification nr 169144 that the coupler for coupling construction elements whose ribs have transversal section of stiffening shape, advantageously T-bar; with transversal head plates placed between the upper and lower plate, on two sides of the coupler, each of them permanently fixed with one of the ribs.
In kmowIl couplers ribs are made of plates transversal to the upper and lower plate. In order to make them stiff enough it is necessary to provide them with many plate ribs. A coupler has through-holes for setting binding elements and supply lines.
The joint of beam construction elements particularly construction coverings shaped with triangles, according to the invention, in the shape of truncate tetrahedron, consists of triangle construction plate connected on sides with assembly plates and advantageously of inner ribs and at least one outer stiffening rib. The connection of assembly sides with construction plate through another outer stiffening rib is also advantage in order to form a hole in the axis of the joint.
The subject of the invention in use is presented in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the joint schematically, Fig. 2 shows the joint with inner ribs, Fig. 3 shows the joint with outer stiffening rib, Fig. 4 shows the composition of the joint and construction covering, and Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 show the use of the invention for making a construction joint.
The joint of beam construction elements shown in Fig. 1 in the shape of truncate tetrahedron is composed of construction plate 1, assembly plates 2 and 3, and of outer stiffening rib 4.
The joint of beam construction elements shown in Fig. 2 in the shape of truncate tetrahedron is composed of construction plate 1, assembly plates 2 and 3, outer stiffening rib 4 and of inner ribs 5.
The joint of beam construction elements shown in Fig. 3 in the shape of truncate tetrahedron is composed of construction plate 1, assembly plates 2 and 3, outer stiffening rib 4 inner ribs 5, and of outer stiffening rib 6 in order to form a hole in the axis of the joint.
The joint of beam construction elements in Fig. 4 shows stereometry of exemplary construction covering.
The joint of beam construction elements in Fig. 5 and 6 show examples of realization of the joint for spherical construction covering.
This invention applies in building industry for building of construction coverings whose high durability, large span and simplicity of assembly and disassembly is required, e. g. open tank coverings, tents, and coverings over temporary constructions. The size of the joint, sections of its component elements and the number of through-holes are set on the basis of outside load, stereometry of the construction covering and planimetry of forming triangles as well as outer and inner casing attached to the joint or rods.
