Abstract:
A joint boot fitted to an outer case with a non-circular outer peripheral shape capable of securing high sealability without impairing molding properties. The inner peripheral shape of the large diameter side mounting part (14) of the joint boot fitted to the outer case (6) is formed to be extended in the radial inner direction at multiple positions in the circumferential direction. The extended parts (24) comprise inner wall parts (26) extended in a curved state in the radial inner direction, outer wall parts (28) in an arc shape forming a part of the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter side mounting part, radially extending center support walls (30) connecting the inner wall parts to the outer wall parts at the circumferential center thereof, and right and left side support walls (32) connecting the inner wall parts to the outer wall parts on both sides thereof. The side support walls are tilted to be positioned closer to the center support walls (30) toward the outside.
