Abstract:
A joint for connecting stainless steel water pipes comprises a sleeved type housing and
a fastening nut, which is screwed into an internal threaded end of the housing. A
stainless steel short pipe is positioned in the center within the sleeved type housing,
and an outer tapered piece is positioned at each end of the short pipe. The tapered
body of the outer tapered piece is connected with an inner tapered piece. A seal
ring is interposed between the each end of the short pipe and the outer tapered
piece. When the fastening nut is screwed into the internal threaded end of the
housing, the inner tapered pieces, the outer tapered pieces and the short pipe
are connected together tightly in the sleeved type housing.
