Abstract:

Provided is a joint connector that can suppress frictional wear of contact parts caused by relative displacement between electric-wire-side terminals and a short-circuit member. The joint connector comprises: a plurality of electric-wire-side terminals (20); short-circuit members(30) that each have a base part (32) and a plurality of terminal fitting parts (34); and an insulating housing (HG) that demarcates a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers (41) and holds the short-circuit members (30). The insulating housing (HG) has a terminal holding housing part (40) that demarcates the terminal accommodating chambers (41) and locks the electric-wire-side terminals (20) in place, and a short-circuit member holding housing part (50) that holds the short-circuit members (30). The two housing parts (40, 50) are joined in a mutually-bound state such that relative displacement therebetween is permitted within a limited range.
