Abstract:
Provided are a joint, and a method for manufacturing a pipe body equipped with a joint, with which no safety or quality problems arise and workability is not reduced even when the pipe body, a core body and an outer tube body are swaged simultaneously one time. The joint (1) is equipped with a tubular core body (10), and an outer tube body (20) which swages a pipe body (2) between the core body and the outer tube body, with the core body and the outer tube body being swaged and secured to one another when the pipe body is swaged. A circumferential groove (12) and wall parts (13A, 13B) are provided on the outer circumferential surface of the core body, and bulging parts (21A, 21B) are provided on the inner circumferential surface of the outer tube body. When the wall part positioned in the front in the insertion direction of the pipe body is the first wall part (13A), and the wall part positioned in the back in the insertion direction is the second wall part (13B), and the bulging part positioned in the front in the insertion direction of the pipe body is the first bulging part (21A), and the bulging part positioned in the back in the insertion direction is the second bulging part (21B), the outer diameter (R1) of the first wall part, the respective inner diameters (r1, r2) of the first and second bulging parts, and the outer diameter (R) of the pipe body satisfy the relationships represented as R1 > r1 and r2 < R.
