Abstract:
A joint according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pair of joint members including a first joint member having a first edge surface and a second joint member having a second edge surface, the first edge surface and the second edge surface having a joined section that is a section where the first edge surface and the second edge surface are joined directly or indirectly via an intermediate material, by being materially or chemically joined; and an external force application structure that is configured so as to apply an external force on the first joint member and the second joint member such that compressive stress is applied to the joined section.
