Abstract:

A purpose of the invention is to provide a joint structure with which the operation of joining the end of a cable to an object to be joined is easy. The present invention relates to a joint structure for joining one end of a first cable with another member, the joint structure being provided with a joining section for joining one end of the first cable with the other member, and a protecting member for slidably accommodating the joining section. The protecting member has a first opening which is provided in one end of the protecting member and through which the first cable is inserted such that the first cable and the protecting member can move relative to each other, and a second opening which is provided in the other end of the protecting member and through which the first cable can extend. The joining section has an inclined surface that is inclined from the other-member-side toward the first-cable-side so that when the joining section is moved relative to the protecting member and accommodated therein and the joining section is then positioned farther diametrically outward than the second opening, the joining section is brought into contact with the second opening and guided into the protecting member. Therefore, the present invention yields good joining operability.
