Abstract:
Provided is a juice extractor which reduces the risk of contamination of a sample even when the apparatus is not functioning correctly, and which is simple to clean. A juice extractor (1) comprises: a gas cylinder (40); a compression plate (50) actuated by the gas cylinder (40) for compressing a sample; and guide rods (51) connected to the compression plate (50) and configured to be slid in the stroke direction of the gas cylinder (40). Since the gas cylinder (40) does not cause significant contamination even if gas leaks therefrom, the juice extractor (1) may be suitably used for samples such as food and drugs. Constant pressure, discontinuously varying pressure, or continuously varying pressure can also be applied to a sample. Moreover, since the compression plate (50) can be lowered horizontally by means of the guide rods (51), force can be uniformly applied to the surface of a sample.
