Abstract:

A novel juvenile hormone epoxidase gene is identified. Disclosed is a DNA that encodes a protein comprising the amino acid sequence described in SEQ ID NO: 2 and having a juvenile hormone epoxidase activity related to the control of the biosynthesis of juvenile hormones.
