Title:
KARAOKE PLAYER AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/018621
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A technique of enabling the singer of a karaoke player to strongly hear a specific part such as a guide melody even when the signer is moving while singing is provided. The singer operates a part selection switch (123) provided to a microphone (121) and selects a part of the song to sing. The part selection switch (123) outputs an operation signal (part information) corresponding to the operated content to a direction control unit (17). When the singer sings a song to the accompaniment, the direction control unit (17) receives a sensor signal (direction information) from a position sensor (122) provided to the microphone (121) and detects the direction toward the microphone (121), i.e., toward the singer. According to the direction information outputted from the direction control unit (17), an output direction control unit (16) controls a loudspeaker array (18) to produce the guide melody corresponding to the part toward the direction of the singer.
