Abstract:
An article for use with a cylinder lock (10) including a cylinder lock body including at least two shells (14, 16) affixed to each other with fasteners (32, 42, 133, 143D, 150), wherein the shells (14, 16) are made of a metal by MIM (metal injection molding), and a plug (54) rotatably mounted in the cylinder lock body and including a plurality of chambers (56), separated by walls (58), wherein plug locking elements (60) are disposed in the chambers (56), wherein at least one of the fasteners (42) extends over a portion of the at least two shells (14, 16) that overlies the plug (54).
