Abstract:

A key body (12) is provided with a container made from a hard synthetic resin. The container (16) is mounted such that container halves (26), (27), respectively, are mounted to the key body (12) to enclose therein a transmitter element (18). A soft resin envelope is molded on the outer peripheries of the key body (12) and the container (16). Heat and pressure produced upon molding of the resin envelope are born by the container (16), so that the transmitter element (18) inside the container is protected.
