Description:

4 KIT FOR MANUALLY DECORATING CLOTHES"

*****

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention concerns to an assembly, or kit, for manually decorating garments (or cloths), such as scarves, foulards, hats, or something else more herein not mentioned, and/or textiles for the ornamentally covering of objects, such as for example fabrics used for covering books or organizers or something else, by manually applicable colors and/or ornamental elements, such as for example strass or rhinestones, or patches, fixable by a glue on textile. Herein and later on it has to be observed that with the term "manually applicable colors" is intended those colors - paints or dyes - that are intended to be spread by the user, on every support, by naked hand or with the aid of color transferring tools from a receptacle to the last support, such as for example paintbrushes, but also felt - tip pens, pencils too, and more. Similarly, with the term "ornamental element fixable to textile" is intended the body set, usually point - like and substantially extended in two prevalent dimensions, that, provided with ornamental nature because of color, shape and/or reflectivity, may be applied on a textile by glues integrated to, or separated from, such ornamental elements. The term "glue" too adopts in this patent the more extended meaning of adhesive substance, adapted to allow the substantially permanent application of the afore said ornamental elements applied on the garment textile to be covered. KNOWN PREVIOUS ART It is known from previous art to realize manually applicable colors to freely decorate textiles without decoration, or provided with superimposed traces on which affix the user desired dye, to thereby personalize the garment or ornamental textile. Similarly, are known glues for textiles allowing to apply patches, or strass, or rhinestones, to the same textiles, such that to decorate and personalize garments. However, such personalizing activities, and then such colors or glues for textiles, are not directly intended for children, and consequently no care is used so that such colors or glues are used by children in an activity that could be not only recreational,

but further creative and able to stimulate in them relationships with the others, inasmuch their creativity result in such an activity may constitute a gift for other persons the children are attached to.

Further, on the market kits intended for children are not known, wherein such manually applicable colors for textiles and /or such ornamental elements are directly associated to a convenient garment, or textile for ornamentally covering objects, to be decorated.

This means that in case parents would stimulate their children creativity with a garment decorating activity (or textiles for objects ornamental covering) of the type afore mentioned, would look for and buy separately on the market garments or textiles for ornamental covering, as well as adapted colors and/or ornamental elements, with the consequent loss of time, to assembly them only in a second time and thereby compose a kit to be presented to children.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to solve the afore mentioned problems, providing an assembly (kit) for garment or other ornamental textile decoration that is easy to use and at the same time intended specifically for children.

Another object of the present invention is to realize a kit for garment or ornamental textile decoration that stimulate the user creativity and could be used as a play intended for children. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

These and other objects are obtained by the kit for manually garment decoration according the first independent claim and the following dependent claims.

The kit for manually decorating garments or other textiles for ornamentally covering objects, according to the present invention, comprises a package wherein at least one garment and/or at least one textile for ornamentally covering objects are housed, and at least one receptacle for a manually applicable color for textiles, and/or for at least one ornamental element fixable to textile by a glue. Advantageously, such a color for textiles and/or such a glue is non - toxic.

Using, in only one kit, a garment or ornamental covering textile, preferably non colored, and colors and/or glues, with corresponding ornamental elements, non -

toxic for textiles, such as for example those commercialized by the French company Pebeo, provides a handy usable tool for just stimulating the children creativity. According to a preferred aspect of the present invention, the garment contained in the kit, for example a tie or a foulard, and/or the ornamental covering textile for objects, for example an appropriately dimensioned fabric, may be of polyester or silk, and composed of non colored fibers. In this way, the expressive freedom of children in decorating garment or textile for ornamental covering is increased. According to a further aspect of the present invention, the kit further contains at least one pattern for exercises in degradable material, for example being a paper pattern. In a preferred embodiment, the kit comprises more receptacles for different colors and/or for different ornamental elements, as well as one or more tools for their spreading on the textile. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS For purposes of illustrations and not limitative a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be provided with reference to the accompanying figures, in which:

- figure 1 is a prospective view of the package back of a kit for garment decoration, according to a particular aspect of the present invention; and

- figure 2 is a prospective view of the figure 1 package, frontally shown in an open configuration. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

Referring to figures, generally the kit for manually decorating garments, according to the present invention, comprises a package 1 wherein at least one garment and/or at least one textile for ornamentally covering objects 10 are housed, preferably having neutral color, and at least one receptacle 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e for a color for textiles, of the type manually applicable, and/or for one or more ornamental elements, such as strass, patches, rhinestones, or other decorations fixable to garment by a glue, wherein the color and/or the glue is advantageously a non - toxic color and/or glue intended for children. More in detail, in the particular embodiment of the present invention herein illustrated, the package 1 is composed of two box shaped sections 2, 3 being

reciprocally connected so that to be able to be mutually closed as a book, thanks to a flap 4 extending between such sections 2, 3 at their outer back. The two box shaped sections 2, 3 further present a plurality of housings 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g, 6h, obtained on the inner side of the same sections 2, 3, intended to accommodate and hold the numerous components of the kit.

The package 1 further comprises at least one lowered shaped portion 5, having dimensions a little bigger than a finger tip, that is obtained on the box shaped section 2 and acting as invitation to facilitate the opening of the package 1 itself, by the user, when the package 1 is in its book like closed configuration. Particularly in the illustrated package in figure 2, the box shaped section 2 comprises a housing 6a intended to accommodate one or more garments 10, or textiles for ornamental covering objects, conveniently overlapping these latter, which are preferably made of neutral non - dyed textiles, for example composed of yarns made of polyester or silk, or cotton, or wool, or of other textile materials herein not specified.

The garments, or textiles for ornamentally covering the objects 10, in the invention herein illustrated being composed of ties, may be indifferently composed of scarves, foulards, sashes, hats, T - shirts, handkerchiefs, or fabrics for covering book or organizer backs, or something else, and may be assorted in the package 1 according to different collections: so in the same package 1 may be housed two or more garments or ornamental textiles 10 of the same type, for example two ties, or two or more garments or textile for ornamentally covering objects 10 of different type, for example a tie and a foulard. In case the kit according to the present invention would comprise a fabric for ornamentally covering an object, then in such a kit the corresponding object may be housed too. For example, in the kit an organizer and the corresponding fabric for ornamentally covering may be present.

The box shaped section 3 of the package 1 comprises a plurality of housings 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g, 6h shaped for supporting and holding a plurality of bottles containing colors for textiles 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e, of the manually applicable type, advantageously non - toxic, as for example those commercialized by the afore mentioned company Pebeo.

Such colors 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e, that may be for example acrylic fluidic colors, are present in sufficient amount to allow the garment decoration (or the textile decoration for ornamentally covering objects) 10 contained in the package 1. It has to be noticed that different colors, different from those herein illustrated, such as for example for textiles contained in felt - tips, or composed of pencils with pigments able to fix on the textile, as long as non - toxic, fall in the inventive conception of the present invention.

Further it has to be noticed that one or more receptacles 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e, or at the most each one, may alternatively contain ornamental elements, such as strass, rhinestones or patches, and a corresponding glue for their fixing on the garment textile or the ornamental textile 10.

In this case, the ornamental elements may be separated from the corresponding glue, or may be included in a fluidic gluing composition, so that their application would be aided. In every case, the glue for such ornamental elements is of the non - toxic type. The section 3 of the package 1 further presents a housing 6c for a tool 8 for spreading color on the garment 10, for example composed of a stylus or a brush adapted for color 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e use, and a further housing 6b, in which a pattern for exercises in degradable material may be placed, for example a paper pattern 9, allowing the user to exercise before spreading the color 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e on the garment or ornamental textile 10, and/or a pictorial or graphic pattern that may act as traces for coping the same pattern on the garment, and/or textile for ornamental covering 10, and/or a mask aiding the decoration adapted to allow the same garment, or textile for ornamental covering 10, only coloring in some of its zones that are made accessible by the mask itself. The package 1 may also comprise other housings for further accessories, herein not mentioned, for decorating a garment, or textile for ornamental covering 10, such as for example a rag, or a correcting fluid, or a solvent, without therefore falling out from the protection scope herein demanded.
