Abstract:
A knee fomentation device according to an embodiment may comprise a body disposed to surround the knee, a plurality of flexible thermoelectric elements provided at multiple locations on the body and configured to transfer heat to and from the knee, and a hot/cold pad which is disposed to cover one surface of the flexible thermoelectric element to be exposed to the inside of the body and is made of a flexible material to be close contact with a specific portion of the knee, wherein since the flexible thermoelectric element is configured to be bendable, when the body is disposed to surround the knee, the flexible thermoelectric element may be transformed into a form corresponding to the shape of the specific portion together with the hot/cold pad, and in order to selectively provide cold fomentation and hot fomentation to the specific portion, the flexible thermoelectric element may be selectively driven to generate or absorb heat by current control.
