Abstract:
Provided is a knee structure for a robot. When a knee is to undergo a shallow bend, the knee structure keeps the torque required by an actuator to bend the knee to a minimum. According to the present invention, a leg part (5) comprises: a thigh part (10); a lower leg part (11) that is arranged below the thigh part (10); a knee joint part (12) that bendably connects the thigh part (10) and the lower leg part (11); and a rubber member (15) that is attached across the thigh part (10) and the lower leg part (11) so as to have slack when the leg part (5) is upright. When the leg part (5) has undergone a deep bend such that the rubber member (15) is extended, restoring force from the rubber member (15) is applied to the thigh part (10) and the lower leg part (11).
