Abstract:
The present invention relates to a knife capable of being used in a reverse position and preventing an unpredictable accident to a user and providing a sense of ease in terms of appearance by having a protection means. The present invention provides a knife, which has a handle part, a body part which is coupled to the handle part and extends to one side, and a body edge part which is formed on the bottom of the body part and performs a cutting function, and which comprises: a protruding part spacedly formed on the upper front end of the body part; an insertion part formed in the area spaced between the body part and the protruding part; and an upper edge part formed on the bottom of the insertion part, wherein the upper edge part cuts an object which has been inserted into the insertion part and needs to be cut and the protruding part is provided with a protection means for protecting a human body or thing by being contacted before the front end of the body part is contacted, in case the body part is separated from the object to be cut.
