Abstract:
The invention relates to a knife, comprising a housing (11) and a blade holder (12), which can be moved relative to the housing (11) in an accommodating chamber (50) of the housing (11) at least between a base position and a cutting position and which has first stop elements (51), which interact with second stop means (60) associated with the housing (11) in order to limit the motion of the blade holder (12) relative to the housing (11). The second stop elements (60) are associated with a base element (23), which can be moved relative to the housing (11) between a first position and a second position. The invention is characterized in that the blade holder (12) is loaded into the base position and in that a spring (57) is fastened indirectly or directly to the blade holder (12) and to the base element (23) and in that the base element (23) can be reversibly locked at least in the first position by means of a locking device (24) that can be adjusted from a locking position to a release position.
