Abstract:
The invention relates to knitted gloves and to methods for producing same. A knitted glove, according to an aspect of the invention, comprises a knitted article composed of five or more yarns formed from three or more different materials. The yarns comprise one or more than one primary reinforcing yarn; one or more than one secondary reinforcing yarn having a lower linear density and greater flexibility than the primary reinforcing yarn; and one or more than one main yarn comprising a soft main material. Each main yarn has a linear density of 20 to 125 tex, each primary reinforcing yarn has a linear density of 20 to 150 tex, each secondary reinforcing yarn has a linear density of 2 to 50 tex and a lower linear density than each primary reinforcing yarn of the same glove. The general linear density of a knitted article composed of five or more yarns is 320 to 450 tex.
