Abstract:
Provided is a technique whereby stitch density can be largely increased easily and economically without significantly changing the configuration of a knitting machine and thus a thin knit fabric having an excellent texture can be obtained.
In a knitting needle-guiding structure of a knitting machine whereby knitting needles are guided in reciprocating motions respectively along a plurality of aligned needle tracks to thereby form a knit fabric, a single knitting needle or a bundle of knitting needles, each knitting needle having one or more hooks, is located in each of the needle tracks so that each needle track is provided with at least two hooks which operate in an integrated manner.
