Abstract:
Disclosed is a knock-type applicator which can prevent a loss in knock force and can make the feeling of operation lighter than before when letting out high viscosity contents, and wherein the number of components is reduced and manufacture is simplified. In a knock-type applicator, when a letting-out body (20) is advanced due to knock operation, the advancing motion is converted to the rotational motion, in one direction, of a transmission cam body (18) by means of a protrusion (18b) and a guide groove (20a) in the letting-out body (20), a cam section (18a) in the transmission cam body (18) intermeshes with a cam section (16b) in the rear part of a rotation cam body (16), the rotation cam body (16) is rotated by the rotation of the transmission cam body (18), and a piston (12) is advanced by the advancement of a screw shaft (14). However, when knock operation is stopped, the letting-out body (20) is made to retreat by the elastic force of a spring (18c), the retreating motion is converted to the rotational motion, in the other direction, of the transmission cam body (18) by means of the protrusion (18b) and the guide groove (20a), returning said body to the original position, and the operation of the rotation cam body (16) and the piston (12) is regulated.
