Title:
L-ASPARTIC ACID α-DECARBOXYLASE MUTANT AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/062961
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An L-aspartic acid α-decarboxylase mutant and an application thereof; the mutant is obtained by mutating lysine at position 221 of L-aspartic acid α-decarboxylase into arginine and by mutating glycine at position 369 into alanine; the obtained new mutant enzyme has better temperature tolerance. K221R and G369A recombinant strains undergo high-density fermentation, sodium L-aspartate is used as a substrate, and β-alanine is prepared by means of a whole-cell catalytic reaction.
