Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention can provide an L2 switch for network security and a remote monitoring and control system using same, the L2 switch for network security comprising: an encryption module for encrypting or decrypting a frame; and a switch fabric module for determining whether to encrypt or decrypt the frame according to the setting of a receiving port in which the frame is received, transmitting the encrypted or decrypted frame to the encryption module, and switching the encrypted or decrypted frame received from the encryption module to a transmission port connected to a destination.
