Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a label and a method for manufacturing a label whereby manufacturing cost can be significantly reduced by using for the label a material conventionally used as a release liner which is mass-produced at low cost instead of using a release liner. The method for manufacturing a label uses as a transparent label-manufacturing base material (12) and a transparent release agent layer (14) attached to one surface of the transparent base material, and an adhesive-treated layer (15), a print layer (16) and an adhesive layer (18) are sequentially attached on the surface of the label-manufacturing base material (12) on the side opposite the release agent layer (14), thereby producing an elongated material (21) for a label. Multiple single labels (20) are manufactured by cutting the elongated material (21) for label.
