Abstract:
Provided are a label with which it is possible to shield laser printing on the inside of the label from the outside of the label and to clearly confirm laser printing from the inside of the label, and a method for producing the label. This label (1) comprises a base material (11), an first intermediate layer (13) on the base material (11), a second intermediate layer (14) on the first intermediate layer (13), and a color-developing layer (15) on the second intermediate layer (14). The color-developing layer (15) is capable of exhibiting chromogenic display due to irradiation with a laser beam. The first intermediate layer (13) is capable of shielding chromogenic display in the color-developing layer (15) from the base-material (11) side. The second intermediate layer (14) is capable of heightening the visibility of chromogenic display in the color-developing layer (15) from the color-developing-layer (15) side.
