Abstract:
The disclosed collection device (300) for defective labels occurring in a conveyor line for adhesive labels (4) applies pressing force to a region in the vicinity of where a label (4B) is attached on a holding mounting (3), the label having been determined to be defective by a defect detection device (33), and the pressing force being applied in a direction (P) which obliquely intersects with the conveyance direction (X) of the mounting (3). Thus, the label is temporarily curved and deformed, and the tip section (4B1) in the conveyance direction (X) of the label (4), said tip section being attached to the abovementioned region of the mounting, is detached. The device then adheres the detached section (4B1) of the defective label (4B), which is moving in a conveyance direction (X1), to a collection mounting (5) which is guided by a movement trajectory which goes from a direction (Y), which is the opposite direction to the conveyance direction (X), toward the detached region (4B1) of the label (4B), and changes direction at an acute angle, directly in front of the detached region (4B1), to a forward direction (Z) which is not the opposite direction to the conveyance direction (X). The detached section (4B1) is adhered to the collection mounting (5) in accordance with the movement thereof, and then the device detaches the entirety of the defective label (4B) from the holding mounting (3), and adheres said label to the collection mounting (5), thus collecting the defective label (4B). Thus, the disclosed defective label collection device for a conveyer line for adhesive display labels can collect labels with only a minimum load being added to the defective label on the mounting, and can be realised at low cost. Further disclosed is a label pasting device which is arranged down-flow from the collection device.
