A labeling machine (10) that includes a means (12) for introducing documents to be later identified into the labeling machine, a means (printer not shown) for sequentially placing an identifier directly on the documents operably connected to the means for introducing documents to be labeled, a document exit assembly (20) operably connected to the means for introducing documents, and a display panel (16) operatively connected to the means for identification.
