Abstract:
Provided is a labyrinth seal that makes it possible to minimize leakage of a fluid. The labyrinth seal (30) is provided with a stepped section (40), a high pressure-side fin (51), a low pressure-side fin (52), and an annular groove (70). The stepped section (40) faces a high pressure side (X1) and is formed on a part on one side (Y1) in a direction facing a rotating body (20) that is a second member. The high pressure-side fin (51) is arranged further toward the high pressure side (X1) than the stepped section (40). The low pressure-side fin (52) is arranged further toward a low pressure side (X2) than the stepped section (40). The annular groove (70) is formed in the part on the one side (Y1) in the direction facing the rotating body (20) and is arranged in at least part of an area further toward the low pressure side (X2) than the stepped section (40) and further toward the high pressure side (X1) than the low pressure-side fin (52).
