Abstract:

Disclosed is a lace-molding die by which a resin lacing is integrally formed at a peripheral portion of a glass plate, at the same time as a metal lacing is adhered onto the resin lacing, wherein the lace-molding die comprises a molding die having an upper die which forms an upper surface of the resin lacing to be formed on the peripheral portion of the glass plate, and a lower die which supports the glass plate in cooperation with the upper die, forms a lower surface of the resin lacing, and has a concave surface including an abutting surface formed to abut with the metal lacing, and a plurality of perforations provided on the abutting surface; a nonmagnetic cylindrical mediation member which abuts the inner surface of each perforation of the lower die; a lacing securing member provided on the inside of the mediation member and having a top portion for holding the metal lacing by a magnetic force and a flange portion provided at the lower portion of the top portion; and a magnetic force generation device for applying a magnetic force to the lacing securing member; and wherein, the outer diameter of the flange portion of the lacing securing member is made larger than the inner diameter of each perforation so that the upper end of the top portion of the lacing securing member does not project from the concave surface of the lower die upon thermal expansion of the magnetic power generation device.
